The Green Bay Shoe Closet opens up sports
participation to students below the poverty line. The Green Bay Shoe Closet provides proper running shoes to student athletes of limited economic means at Green Bay East and West High Schools, enabling them to participate in running sports injury-free. These students can then reap the benefits associated with running, including a positive community, improved health, life skills and better grades. Our goal is to expand to all four Green Bay area public high schools.
